How are the designs printed onto the coasters?

Coasters are printed using a dye sublimation process, chosen for its crisp, vibrant reproduction of fine detail, so the colour and texture of the original artwork carry through clearly.

What size are the coasters?

Each coaster measures 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4"), with rounded corners for a neat, finished edge.

What set sizes are available?

Coasters are sold in sets of two or six. A set of six suits a dining table in daily use, while a set of two works well as a compact gift, particularly alongside a mug or print featuring the same design.

How should I clean and care for these coasters?

Wiping the surface with a soft, damp cloth is generally sufficient to remove spills or dust without damaging the printed design. Harsh scrubbing, abrasive cleaners, or submerging the coasters in water should be avoided as this can wear down the protective coating over time. Allowing coasters to air dry fully before stacking helps preserve their finish.

Can I choose which artwork appears on the coasters?

Each coaster or set is listed with its specific artwork design on the product page, so customers can browse the full range and select the image that suits their taste or décor. Designs vary from landscapes to more abstract or decorative patterns, depending on what is currently in stock. Checking the individual product listing will confirm exactly which design is included before purchase.

Do the coasters match other products in the same design?

Yes. Every coaster reproduces the same original artwork used across our Fine Art Prints, Mugs, Cards, and Journals, so you can pair a coaster with a print or mug in the same design.

Fine Art Coasters

Our coasters bring museum-quality reproductions of original artwork from Ellie White’s collections into everyday use, from 18th Century watercolours in the Taylor White Collection to newer illustrated ranges including Lurcher and Spiritual. Each design is printed with the same care as our fine art prints, so the detail and colour of the original artwork carry through to a piece you’ll use daily.

Each coaster is made from 4mm thick medium-density fibreboard with a protective cork base, printed using a dye sublimation process for a crisp, vibrant image, then sealed with a gloss finish that protects the artwork and keeps it looking fresh. Rounded corners give each coaster a neat, finished edge.

Available in sets of two or six, they’re a practical way to protect your table while adding a distinctive piece of art to everyday use.
